Create an Anthropic Account
Go to console.anthropic.com and click "Sign Up". You can register with your email or Google account.
After signing up, verify your email by clicking the link Anthropic sends you. You may also need to verify your phone number via SMS.
Generate Your API Key
Once logged in, go to the "API Keys" section from the left menu and click "Create Key". Name it something like "OpenGnothia".
Your key (starting with "sk-ant-") will be shown only once. Copy it immediately and save it somewhere safe — you won't be able to see it again.
Use Your Key in OpenGnothia
Open OpenGnothia, go to Settings, and paste your Claude API key into the designated field. That's it — you can now start using the Claude-based AI therapist.
If your key isn't working, make sure there are no extra spaces and that you have sufficient credits. You can check your balance and manage keys at console.anthropic.com.
Pricing
Claude API uses pay-as-you-go pricing. Anthropic offers several models: Claude Haiku (fastest, most affordable), Claude Sonnet (balanced), and Claude Opus (most capable).
